A printing machine, comprising an unwinding unit to unroll and feed a web into the printing machine such that the web moves through other units in a series, a treating unit for cleaning the moving web, at least one printing unit to transfer printing ink to the web according to print design, at least one curing unit to cure or dry an ink printed on the web, a camera monitoring unit to scan the printed web, and a position control and web guide unit to check and maintain the alignment of the web during operation of the printing machine, by using at least one tension control unit to pull and release the web to maintain web tension during operation of the printing machine, a plurality of rotary drums and rollers to facilitate movements of the web during operation, a rewinding unit to rewind or roll back the printed web, in which at least one rotary drum intermittently rolls in one direction and its opposite direction to move the web forward and backward alternatingly during intermittent rotary printing mode.
